No, this means that a message was detected whose type couldn't be identified. When this happens it would be great if you could post the message that was received so that cloud can add it to the list of known messages

I have a println on onmsgreceived, even when a normal chat message is sent, the onmsgreceived doesnt appear to be called.

Are you adding it to the event dispatcher using getEventDispatcher().addListener(this); ?
