Thanks guys. Will be updating the thread shortly with details. Keep inmind this is an early release so i haven't tested all the items that are listed. And it will get confused if there are two hotspots available with the same name but of different size for example certain table spaces or rug spaces differ in size but have the same name. I'll be working on a way to fix that soon.

Curious about the hotspots size thing @Aidden; care to explain what it is?
Okay so in the first room you get in your house there's a Rug space on the floor with 3xChair space on it iirc. This space is probably only 6 tiles in area. Now when you level up and start adding other rooms you'll find that some of them also have a Rug space, but is more like 10+ tiles in area. As both the spaces have the exact same name, the bot can't tell the difference between them. This also occurs with Table spaces. However, the Rug space one is much harder to deal with because each Rug space isn't just one object, but rather many smaller different objects all next to each other, all called Rug space. I can deal with the Table space problem by just checking the area the hotspot takes up. But for rugs i'm going to have to take another approach ie Working out which Rug space objects are grouped together and then determine the size of the space that way.

@Aidden please add protean support I know it cant be hard, just make an option that just stands there and continuously makes. Have 18k protean planks dying to use. Should get me 1-80 odd

I don't know how protean planks work. Please explain how they work, where i can get some, what you can make from them and i'm assuming they're stackable? Because if not they won't be added until banking is added.

Protean planks can be won on Treasure Hunter and are a possible prize from a shiny clover necklace. They are stackable planks that are usable in place of any other type of plank.

They cannot be used in clockwork toys, to upgrade the pig machine under Falador farm, to build hidey-holes, nor to repair the ladder to the Death Plateau Beacon in the All Fired Up Mini Game. They can be used to construct frames for grapevine seeds.

When using a portable sawmill to create planks, it is possible to receive protean planks instead. As of 24 April 2015, protean logs can be turned into protean planks at any sawmill at the cost of 5 coins for each plank.

Same as any other protean item, it is used last if other planks are in the inventory.

Join the chat portables, find a portable sawmill, have around 5k logs and run 5k logs through to get about 500 protean planks. Average 500 protean planks an hour doing that with around 200k profit from selling the logs.

Using normal planks is pointless now as you can use protean planks which you get for free and while you're getting them you're earning 200k-300k an hour from selling the normal planks on the G.E

Highly highly recommend using protean planks. IMO it is absolutely pointless and a waste of time and money to use any other method

Interesting, i'll definitely try and get it implemented within the next few days. Would increase xp rate a lot due to the planks being stackable

AND it would render construction training almost completely free, depending on the path taken.

can you add support to your plank maker to use portables to make protean planks which we then can use with ur construction bot to get fast and free xp :D

for future reference it averages at around 5k logs per hour using a portable saw mill. So at least 25k coins will be required to run it for at least an hour.
You know that ypu have to pay to get them converted, just like the real sawmill, right?

.............

5 coins each = 5k an hour average = 25k. That's what my whole post was about. Legit no offence but are you retarded?

You better check your sources before calling someone retarded, retard.

52-99 construction requires about 100k protean planks which would be 100k protean logs(those only cost 5 coins ea) so I assume you must have 100k protean logs then. Pics or didn't happen?

For the record;

100k protean planks(logs = 4% chance x2 because it's always 2 proteans/log = 8%) -> 1,250m logs @+58k/1k logs -> 72m profit
100k protean planks(oaks = 6% chance x2 because it's always 2 proteans/log = 12%) -> 833k oaks @+29k/1k oaks -> 24m profit
100k protean planks(teak = 8% chance x2 because it's always 2 proteans/log = 16%) -> 625k teaks @-50k/1k teaks -> -31m loss
100k protean planks(mahos = 10% chance x2 because it's always 2 proteans/log = 20%) -> 500k mahos @-149k/1k mahos -> -74,5m loss

Assuming you have a rate of 10k logs per hour, that's what I achieved when doing 120 construction, you can get 99 construction anywhere in 50-125 hours.
