IP Flagging

I want to know how people think IP/account flagging works.
If my IP is flagged and I log onto it with any (also non-botted) account, will the account get flagged?
If I then subsequently log in with the same account to another IP, does it take the IP flag to the new IP?
I'd also like to hear general ideas on how they handle the IP flagging and how big part of the botwatch it is.

They can flag hardware too im not sure what part of the computer they flag thats been clear for years. Dont check any account thats been banned for botting with the computer or new ip you plan to keep using for runescape. You can easily use your phone off of your internet to check appeals but if youve ever logged on to the non botted account with your phone dont bother also goes for two step verification. Yea it will follow flagged accounts all day and it must be pretty big since most people dont last more than a week botting smart on a flagged ip. You can always call your internet provider and ask for a new ip address depending on who they might charge you or limit it to a few times a years

its applied speculation as with any other info out there about how to bot safely. Not gonna be like the rest of the people and say shit like "Dont bot if you dont wanna be banned".

On a side note did your ass finally figure out i was talking about your bot on my profile page? You changed your shitty attitude after you figured out i was calling you the decent bot author that made there bot free while he "reworked" it? Its pretty fucking easy to figure out what bots i was talking about if you read my page witch is most likely why you changed your fucking tune half way in the conversation.

So fuck off with your "wild" speculation at least im giving advice and not bashing people like the rest of you shitty authors love to do you guys must get off on it cause you sure can find the time to bash people but not rework bots.

Then you could say all things to bot safely are a myth there is no proof to anything unless you work for jagex and can provide it.

I bot safely, this has nothing to do with ip. I never change my ip after an account is banned and it does not flag the others

I agree. I run multiple bots at the same time at interspersed schedules.

When one bot is banned, others stay alive

I do not believe in IP flagging.

Yes, i do bot safe and explore my ip to the maximum without problems
There are cases like this without proxys @chad had a main banned but still has his fishing account days after but what else can explain chain bans? iv seen people have 2 or 3 accounts do different things over all accounts but still catch chain bans even playing legit on one. The rules page on RS even states in the multi logging section that if caught botting, RWT, or breaking other serious rules all accounts will get banned how do they know all your accounts if you dont connect them? Iv seen chain bans like this in the past but not in awhile or on this site.
They also could just be blowing smoke out there ass to scare people and saying that.

Do you delete your random.dat files? and how long do you bot a day? im going on average 10 hours sometimes more

send us some proof or test you made that made you think that ip flag is real
That involves a ban witch hasnt happened to me yet or i would and thats also like me asking you to send proof that ip flagging isnt real GF.

I think this does not exist and what makes more than one account banned is the fact that it uses the same bot client or some bot that uses the same pattern. I got some wierd bans to test it

I will not say if I think ip flagging is true or not. I dont have proof or good arguments to say anything. Just like you.

Your right most chain bans come from gold farmers but can you say you can bot as much as before you got the ban without catching another one faster? i have not seen a case where they can bot the same amount of hours on the same ip after a ban even if they upgrade to a paid bot. I hope im wrong tbh about this but i feel like there is IP flagging just on the shear amount of info iv read the past few months even tho half of them dont know how to bot smart like us. Its always better to assume the worst in botting just to be safer.

Do you delete anything in your random.dat files

Youve implied that you think its not real by asking me to provide proof that it is or why else would you ask that? unless your trying to start shit so why did you say anything to begin with.

Your English is horrendous.

He's saying you don't have proof so your opinion is just as valid as his. No one can tell how banning works.

So, this thread started a big discussion, good.
I was considering this, however I have played on my main with my current IP (which is probably flagged, if that's a thing). So if I would continue to play on the new IP with my main, would my main take the flag with it to the new IP, getting new bots on the new IP banned just as fast?

no one really knows but its prolly safer to assume so
