OSRS How to buy accounts/where to buy?

Hello, I've been playing osrs on and off and have been botting every time I play this game, but lately I've been wanting to play legit and do not have time to to make an account and skill and quest and etc. Since I'm always getting banned, I figured I should just buy a main. Anyone know how safe it is to buy an account? Do people still recover? Where should I buy one? Should I buy off a gold farm site or from a player? Anyone have experience on buying accounts? Recommendations?

Thank you,
Francisco

Yeah people still recover. But if you're willing to take the risk, I'd try playerauctions over any forum really. Goldfarming sites may be fine, but are prob way overpriced for what you get. Just when you get one, do all the things you possibly can to prevent anyone gaining access to it (e-mail change, 2FA, pin, password change, etc) but even then yes the original owner can still attempt to recover

as serene says people still recover i brought one bad ass main with(username) and 1500++ total lvl with like 95 QP , decent bank from rs4account ,
they did gave me lifetime grantee ! haah , a year later they literally told me they lost the data of most the account and no more grantee " i knew at this time i was scammed and they recover it to give another one " even tho i set 2FA they disable it god knows how i'd sue them but paypal doesn't help when its account / gold they ripped me off with like 50$ which would have been saved if i didn't buy account
to anyone i would say under no circumstances buy an account from sites/goldfarming /quitting players ." i know its hard advice but you will live in peace "
tips: i know might be hard but i'd recommend you to "throw 1 account killing cow with little breaks if it survive to 30 / 30 /30 or whatever your target go to P2p and bot there much much more safer than f2p , you can hit the 70 in a week or less

Never buy accounts.
Because even if they try to recover it, they can still ban the account for RWT.
So in the end, if they don't get it. They can just ban it out.
Lose lose 90% of the time.
I actually had a nice main account I bought, and a year later it was recovered. A day later it was banned for RWT when I contacted runescape about recovering the account back.

Honestly? If you're looking to play runescape for irl money. Make noob accounts, and spam simple gold farming techniques. Never go for high level things because you'll spend more time re-creating the account than making money. (This is still up to you)
If you're looking to actually make an account for yourself? Bot it up safely. (Can't say for OSRS, but in RS3 I have a near max account I did within a few months.)
Realistically you can get a lot done in a few weeks of botting.

Start over it's way more worth it. say you spend 300+ hours of playing then they recover it. Time = Money. Big money risk

Thank you all so much for your insight. I'm just going to follow what IronWaffle and iiDevilxX said, and kind of follow simple gold farming strategies and bot/play legit every now and then until I have a legit main. Maybe only play legit to complete a quest or something.

And if you were willing to spend money for an account. May as well spend it on gold instead. This can really speed up skilling. (i.e. buyable skills)

You could always pay for a custom build i.e you provide the account / bond usually to someone, and you list the stats / quests you wished to be completed on it. A bit more expensive than outright buying it, but you're paying for safety.
