I'm currently using a i5 4690k @ 4.5ghz and this is how my CPU usage with 2 bots looks like...
I also have 16gb of RAM.

What am I doing wrong? The CPU usage option on the client is already set to very low, I'm running on safemode + min settings

I was looking to upgrade, but I cant run more than 2 bots on this machine, this is just stupid :(

I have at my disposal two machines, one with a E3-1240v3 + 32gb of ram and another with a E5-1650 + 32gb of ram.

How many bots can I run on each of those setups?

I'm running 4-5 bots with the same CPU, the clients lag a bit but that doesn't matter hehe

But I'm already at 90-100%.. Each runescape client is around 30% + 25% to the Runemate instance.
Isn't this too much?!

It doesn't matter, the computer will allocate resources for each of the instances. (which is why they'll start lagging.)
I get 100% CPU usage on everything between 2-5 bots lul

Any idea how many I could run on the E3 and E5 CPU i listed?

Quad cores aren't great for botting. The more cores/threads the better. Clock speed is not even that important.
16gb of RAM would probably suffice for ~8-10 RS3 bots.

Thanks. Any idea on how many bots the E3 (4c/8t) and the E5 (6c/12t) could run?

I'm running Quality Divination
I'm afraid I don't have experience with Xeon CPUs. Judging by their raw specs i would say the E3 could run about 10, the E5 14?
I reckon if you really want to push your machine it could be a bit more actually.

But its not just about cpu and ram. Spectre connects to the runescape client over sockets, which get handled by the networking card in your machine. If you are fully loading your cpu with like 10 bots, the bot's reaction time might become a bit slow since the networking card is busy. But I also don't know at what scale exactly that would happen.

Another thing, I can also get a 8c/16t machine, but it uses dual E5620.
Those dual E5620 have the same "power" as the 4c/8t Xeon E3 I can also get.
Which would you choose?

@Savior , did you see my previous reply?
You said the extra cores matter, so having twice the cores and threads, but the same "power" would be better?

What do you mean with the same power?

Try using awesome cursed. I think the UI of quality div is too fancy and it wastes precious power. How much do you get with awesome cursed?

The CPU usage was around the same actually, around 4-5% less. But it got around 20% less energy per hour due to a bug on the bot itself. The author is trying to fix it
