I can't get the bot to use the butler for faster construciton. the only way it works is with phials

I tried having the butler unnote as well as fetching and he just idles

Read the setup instructions carefully. You need to get the butler is fetch 1 inventory of planks before starting the bot, so the option for "Fetch/unnote another X planks from the bank" is in the chat options.
