Hello!

Since I've got tons of PM's about it I thought I'd just make a guide on how to bot with the program. With proxifier you can run the runescape client and visit the runescape website with proxies. You can also use proxifier to run RM and all of the other botting clients with proxies. This is essential for those that are flagged and accounts getting locked & banned on a weekly basis. So lets start.

First of you want to Download Proxifier

Once installed, activate the trail, or you could use one of the keys provided in the spoiler below:
Standard Edition Keys:

Portable Edition Keys:

You should go and buy a private proxy, use google for this. I've been using bestproxyandvpn for some time now without any issues, got 99 agility on 2 accounts suiciding on both.

Now when you've done that open up Proxifier. Go to Profile > Proxy Servers > Add
Now enter the credentials provided from your proxy service
  • IP: Port
  • Protocol Version (Strongly suggest you to use & buy SOCKS5)
  • Authentication (Username & Password for the proxy server)
Once you've filled in everything, hit the OK button. Should look something like this:

Now that the first part is done, lets move on to the second part.

Go to Profile > Proxification Rules. Now Set the Default rule name to Direct under actions. You can remove the Local host rule as its for no use.

Now you want to click on the Add button and create a runescape proxy rule.
Name it whatever you feel like, I just used Runescape since I'm only going to use for just that.
Now under Target Hosts copy & paste this: *.runescape.* and now just select your proxy you want to use under Action tab and click the OK button. Now if you've done everything correctly it should look similar to this: http://i.imgur.com/pfEmsCG.png

Now you're done. Every time you open up runescape on either browser, botting client or their official client you should be proxying with the setup you just made.

Good Luck with the botting gainz! :)

FAQ

What proxy should I use?

I'd suggest you to use SOCKS5 all the way!

Can I use free proxies?
Yes you can but it will prolly be flagged already. I don't recommend this.

Where can I get paid proxies?
Use google, there are tons of sites that offer premium proxies. Make sure to read and do some research about the company selling them first before buying.

How to I use different proxies on same/one machine?

Great tutorial! I was wondering, looking at the pricing it says you get for example "3 IP's" and you pay per month. If you get banned then that IP is no longer desirable, can you change the IP that they supply to you?

Yes depending on the package you buy, If you just buy 1 IP you are able to change it twice a month, higher packages more changes etc. I have never had the need to change the IP, only done it once in the past 12 months ;)

when setting up the new proxy i accidently was botting while setting it up and changed the proxy server while botting. do you think this would register as a red flag to rs botting systems?

When I run OSRS through a proxy, for some reason runemate will then not work on that osrs client. Works fine when no proxy is used. Anyone know what's up with that?

READ THIS FOR MULTIPLE PROXIES

If you are trying to set up individual proxies for separate clients, you need to set up a chain under 'Proxy Servers..' and then direct your rule action to the chain you created. When creating your chain be sure to select 'Type..' and choose 'Simple Chain'. This will load up each .runescape. host (client) under it's own dedicated proxy from the list you have provided to the chain.

I just spent the better part of 2 days pulling my hair out trying to load each proxy manually with failures and errors and thought this may be useful to anyone who is experiencing similar issues.

I was wondering if you knew how to check and see which action is using which proxy address though?
