Currently, when player is browsing the RM's forums and when he leave's them, his account is left to be on "Online" mode for very long time.

I'm not sure how the settings are at this moment, but the account should be turned into "offline" mode ~10 minutes after the user has left the forums.

I know that longer the timer is, the better the forum statistics look on the portal, but this one really affects the communication, as you'll mostly think that the user is online, when the status is "online"

This is how the forum software works and is not something we can configure. I believe the default is 15 minutes.

It seem's like it's +60 minutes on RuneMate's forums currently. Xenforo is not very familiar to me, but I know that it can only be changed through the files, not the ACP.

Thought that you have changed it as it doesn't seem to be the default one, which is indeed 15 minutes.

Edit: Did some fast reseaches and according to the XenForo's support website, there's option in ACP to change it.

Sorry actually, can I just go back as to why you actually want this when you can just uncheck "Show online status"?

I want this, because I'd really like to know when the user is actually online. Currently it can show as "online" when in reality the user has been online like hour ago.

Make's the feature pretty useless. The status is pretty important for the communication.

Because users show as online when they're using the client. They show up with the "browsing forum user RuneMate"

This is about as low priority as it gets, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Yet, very important for the forum activity. Anyone who's active on the market section or other very social sections can relate to my opinion, I'm sure.

I'm just making sure you're aware that with Arbiter's incredibly limited time and long list of tasks to run (which are considerably more important than this is), I would be very surprised if this is ever done.

My "duty" in here is just to suggest things and those suggestions go through if they do.

I am aware that Arbiter may not have time for it, but it would be stupid of me to not suggest things that would improve this community. I've been developer/manager on several projects and I really know that time is limited, as there's a lot of things going on this thing called life.

I'm not saying it shouldn't happen and I'm certainly not saying you shouldn't make suggestions, but as I've already stated I'm simply making you aware, as there seem to be several users who get angry when they don't get a response from him directly or immediately.
