Hi, recently i've started getting an issue where runemate fails to download the bot. Gets to around 30% hangs and displays the error. i've had to request refunds a few times now. normally it fails 1 or 2 times and then on the next attempt it starts it.

- speed doesn't seem to be a problem...
- i've uninstalled/reinstalled both runemate and jagex client.

Any thoughts/ideas/help please..

Something on your network is intefering with the RuneMate client trying to connect to its servers.

Are you using any form of modified network, such as custom DNS, VPN, proxy, PiHole, restricted corporate or school device settings etc?

Ensure RuneMate and RuneLite are set up correctly in your firewall settings.

Hello,

No VPN, Proxy or Pihole. This is a personal computer so no restrictions i am the admin.

As for DNS there's nothing setup on the router - however, on my personal machine which i use runemate on i have the network config to Google DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. (I can default this, if you believe that will stop the issue?)

Windows 11 OSx64
I don't run a Paid for anti-virus so all i have going is Windows Defender, access is allowed to the correct folder paths for both Runelite and Runemate.
