Hello,

I am new here, but I am interested in purchasing an account. I have heard stories of people buying their account, having it for a few months then being reported stolen by the original sellers. Then they are booted off the account. How do I ensure this does not happen to me? Are there any good 3rd party sites?

The short answer is there is literally nothing you can do to stop the account being taken back off you, by the original owner.

Jagex will always be able to recognise, and will therefore give the account back to, the original owner.

Makes sense, I decided I won't purchase an account then. It seems to risky to me, and most people just want to scam anyways.

I think you can buy an account if you conclude a virtual contract. Nowadays there is a virtual signature and I think you can do it freely, legally.
