No idea how to fix it. I've uninstalled both runemate and runescape clients + Java, restarted and reinstalled about 20 times now. Also deleted Jagex and Runemate cache with no luck. Ran both the osrs client and runemate in every combination of admin and compatibility mode (All ran on Windows 10). Nothing seems to be working.
Just noticed that I couldn't find my Java version from the Runemate install alone, so I can't offer that version number. Installed the most recent version 1.8.0_271 and still having the same issue.
Added most recent logs.
I did find that I can change the Exception to an IOException with some combinations of compatibility. No clue if that's better or worse.
Any help or advice would be great. Thank you
EDIT: I have also allowed Runemate and osrs client through firewall and had Antivirus and firewall disabled this whole time while troubleshooting.
SOLVED. Uninstalled NordVPN then restarted. Still run Runemate and osrs client in admin + windows 8 compatibility modes. No clue how NordVPN interferes with the connection even when VPN is not active.
