You can ask other users to pay for you, while you give them RSGP, runemate credits or any other currency.
However RuneMate does not warrant for anything like that.

His issue is that paypal won't let him use his account because he doesn't have a bank card on it.
At least that's what I took from the OP.

Yes that's why people can send him money to his paypal account so that he has a high enough balance to pay.

Exactly I don't have a card linked and I can't pay via cash.
If somebody wants to upgrade me on their behalf I'll happily pay pp, rsgp or rm.

I have enough funds to pay with cash but paypal tells me I need a card.

A onetime payment works with paypal balance. At least in my case, I only have to pay with credit/debit card when trying to make a subscription to runemate.

But the difference is, you HAVE a card linked to your account.
He does not, and I think that's the source of his troubles.
