I recently purchased Sponsor, solely for the 3rd account. Yet I still get the error saying that I have reached my limit of 2 bots running at a time.

If you believe the reported number of bots running is greater than it should be it may be caused by a recent unsafe shutdown of the RuneMate client. Please wait up to 15 minutes for the old session(s) to expire.

If you log out/close the RuneMate client and then re-open it does this still occur?

You only paid $12, which gets you "up to 2 accounts running at once" as stated on the Upgrade page.
