My botting hours were exceeded on the 2nd of Febuarary and they were due for reset on the 3rd.

So how was i botting yesterday and today if my hours were up and now all of a sudden i've done 200 hours in the last two days?

The hour system works on a 30 day rolling window, meaning that the hours that were used 30 days ago will be replenished today. For more information check out the billing and payment FAQs at Tutorial - Billing and Payment FAQ.

I WAS OUT OF HOURS ON THE SECOND OF FEBRUARY.
On the second of February i attempted to start a bot and received the message telling me i was out of hours.
I checked the link on the 2nd day of February, and it took me to a page telling me the hours i have used since January 3rd(200/200)

6 days ago is when it reset. if i botted every available hour of each day i would still have hours.
i botted yesterday and earlier today.
hence they were reset

I understand what you are saying. You need to understand what the rolling period is
On the 3rd February you were credited with the hours you used on the 3rd January.
On the 4th Februrary you were credited with the hours you used on the 4th January
...
On the 10th February you were credited with the hours you used on the 10th January

so why is this method used over a 200 a month like every other service i've ever used?

i'm so confused as to who benefits from this system who would come up with this because i am completely ignorant to this concept

it literally can take an extra month before i get all my hours back
Yes, that's how a rolling average works :)
But as opposed to the method you're suggesting where it resets to 0 and you have to wait for it to hit 0 before you can bot again, this lets you use your hours as they become avaliable.

All in all you're getting the same amount of free hours/month either way. Rolling average just makes it less restrictive.

You can always upgrade to supporter for more free hours.

Nah, going to 0 is way better for the consumer. because what your suggesting isnt how it works. you have to wait the entire month before you start getting rollback hours to begin with. it's way more restrictive

What I'm suggesting is exactly how it works. You get the exact same amount of free hours/month :')

Lol, very delayed response from me

I was never against paying for the xtra 100 hours, as long as the PLUS 100 Hrs was the remedy to issue I have with the current "rolling" system then fk it lol

And believe me when i say this

Upon learning that RuneMate has a system where the amount of Hours an account can bot per month, my reaction to that was not to automatically assume RM is just grabbing cash anyway it can causing ppl to make multiple accounts and load money onto multiple wallets(That's probably just a nice by-product)

I believe it's best to take measures against Botted accounts running rampid In-Game and ruin it for everyone by Jagex being forced to crack down
