I was wondering if anyone had managed to get the client to work without turning off their Avast firewall?

I tried to start an instance with default Avast firwall settings and recieved the message 'Failed to bind to the game client because of an Exception'

I then added JagexLauncher.exe located in: C:\Users\%user%\jagexcache\jagexlauncher\bin and allowed for all connections. When trying to start an instance I now recieve the message 'Failed to bind to the game client because of an AgentInitializationException'

Are there any other applications or processers that I should allow?

Why don't you just uninstall avast?

I can turn the firewall off and it works, but windows firewall is more of doorway with no door. Was hoping someone has a config that works.

As long as you don't download any weird shit your standard Windows defender is plenty antivirus.
