i do not have a clue why you have this issue. I just updated and never saw a 2nd icon appearing anyway, besides the updater itself, which has the same icon, but that one disappeared after the update was completed. El Capitan 10.11.6 btw

Isnt the 2nd icon just the devices icon? once you remove the runemate 'device' / the actual updater, the 2nd icon is gone?

i can confirm i do not have this issue on a mac.

He is just being honest tbh. Would say the say things as he does. the funding is a nice idea, but hard to implement and to make it fair without abuses etc.
