Hi, please help solve the reason why my account was banned.

-I hand played the entire account

-It was botting on a SOCKS proxy by Virmach

-The orignal IP it was botting on stopped working so i cancelled service and decided i would use a different IP from VIrmach.

-I logged into that account on 2nd IP Aprox 3/18 at night. played for a couple hours (just fishing)

-I logged onto that account on my OS Mobile phone and traded over some gold Yesterday night to my Main bot Which i Bot on my HOME IP.

-I checked if my main bot was banned and he wasn't. He has been running 24/7 (i originally thought that the ONLY way he could've been banned was with a "Chain-ban" but i dont even think thats a possiblity.

-I also paid a power-leveler to train on my account (G2g.com) which cost me 120$ IRL (my method involves 200+ hours of playing before you can start botting it)

-I Let the account Age


If you have any thoughts on what the cause of this ban could be please let me know. I'm very clueless right now and i'm counting on you guys.

There are many different things that could have gotten you banned. It's hard to say for sure. It could simply be the client itself being detected. That is one of the reasons why the RuneMate client is the best, it uses the regular java client to actually play Runescape with, unlike other bot clients.

It would make sense that this would make a big difference when it comes to detection, but who knows for sure. One thing about antiban or detection in general, is there is no "real" antiban. You can only do so much to emulate how a human would play, and even then those emulations become detectable behaviour in themselves to a certain degree.

If we're just spitballing here, I have some examples of things that could have gotten you banned:

--Your bot went rogue and got itself banned to avoid slavery.
--The way Tribot's client interacts with Runescape is detectable.
--The other person logging into your account to PL from a distant IP not nearby your location, could potentially flag your account for review.
--The new proxy you used could have already been flagged by Jagex due to another botter.
--The bot you were using was poorly designed or otherwise had easily detectable behaviour.
--Mod mark pressed the wrong button.
--A player reported you.
--Jagex plain don't like you

Nobody has any idea how you got banned and you'll never be able to know. The best thing you can do is change your methodology, and use RuneMate from now on. Take it slow, and don't get greedy, whatever you were botting before can be done here. If you can't find a bot you need, try making a request in the "Bot Requests" Subforum.
